Read this year: 30 Books, 9,233 Pages

Dearest Ivie by J.R. Ward Blood Fury by J.R. Ward The Dirt on Ninth Grave by Darynda Jones Eighth Grave After Dark by Darynda Jones Seventh Grave and No Body by Darynda Jones

The Chosen by J.R. Ward The Fate of the Tearling by Erika Johansen Hunting Ground by Patricia Briggs Death and the Girl Next Door by Darynda Jones

Looking Back:

Another productive month of reading thanks to audiobooks.  I also managed to get caught up on all of J.R. Ward’s releases and finished the Queen of the Tearling trilogy.  I made significant progress in my reread of the Charley Davidson series and decided to not finish the YA series that Darynda Jones published.  The first book was good but by the second book, I was over teenage drama even the paranormal kind.  So I’m going to skip book two and three.  I made it past the halfway point in my reading challenge on Goodreads.  If I continue at this pace I hope to be back over 100 books read this year.  Yay!

Looking Ahead:

In April I hope to get caught up on another favorite author’s books.  I’m going to cross my fingers and dive into Ms. Kenyon’s series.  I have one or two releases in her League series, at least one in the Dark Hunter world, and two first books in new series she is writing.  I’m a bit worried they won’t work for me but I’ve put them off long enough.  After that, I’m not sure what I’m going to read.  Might look for another series to start.  I have a hold on the new Scalzi book coming out in April so when it comes into the library I will be checking that one out.  I also have a book talk book to read called The Taster which is a historical fiction piece about a woman who tasted the food for Hitler… Not looking forward to that one no matter how many patrons come in and tell me how good it is.

Happy Reading ~Amy
