My Review:

Being a life long Trekkie I have a tough time passing up Star Trek books that are offered up for review.  When I saw this one was available I decided to add it to my to-read list.  The graphic novel was great, but very short.  Only 40 pages long I did not realize this was part of a serial.  I will keep my eye open for the other installments as it would be nice to see how things turn out.

This graphic novel is set in the same universe as the last two movies and features the younger original cast as they are on their five-year mission to explore the galaxy.  The graphics are stunning and the dialog true to the franchise full of the character chemistry and wit that the series is known for.

Great little book only complaint I have is it was so short.  Personally I would wait for the omnibus version and read it all at once.  Also on paper as the graphic novel format doesn’t seem to work all that well with my Nook.

My Rating: 3 Stars
