Welcome to another contribution to the wildly popular blog meme, Top Ten Tuesday.  This week they ask us to share lists on:

March 31: Ten Books You Recently Added To Your To-Be-Read List

This week’s list seems fairly straight forward and hopefully won’t take long at all, I need to get some reading in… Thanks to the sort feature over at Goodreads I’m just going to share with you the last ten books I added to my to-read shelf.  Some week we should do lists on ten books that have been on your to-read shelf the longest and explain why we keep avoiding them.

Ten most recent adds to my to-read shelf on Goodreads.

  1. Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (Extraordinary Voyages, #6)   Added 3/28/15: This one I just picked up (for free, didn’t break my book buying ban) mainly for my husband who enjoys classics, but I thought I might try reading it too.
  2. A Sorceress of His Own (The Gifted Ones, #1) Added 3/27/15:I enjoy this author’s other series, Immortal Guardians, and learned last week that she is starting a new series.  It is a historical, but linked to her other series, so I thought I would give it a try.
  3. The Wrath and the Dawn (The Wrath and the Dawn, #1) Added 3/25/15: This one I requested for review from the First to Read program over at Penguin.  It sounds like an interesting take on 1001 Arabian Nights and I would like to read it even if I am not approved for an ARC edition.
  4. The Worst Witch (Worst Witch, #1)  Added 3/24/15:This was added thanks to last week’s TTT list.  I remember reading this book in grade school and was thrilled to discover its name.
  5. The Neverending Story  Added 3/24/15:Can’t remember why I added this one.  Probably during the search for last week’s list.  I loved the movie as a child, why not try to recapture some of my youth.
  6. About a Vampire (Argeneau, #22)  Added 3/22/15:This is an author I adore, most of the time…, anyway saw she had listed her next release so I added it.  Fun series.
  7. The Rook (The Checquy Files, #1) Added 3/20/15:I read an article about this book.  Knew nothing about it, but it was recommended for adults that remembered reading and enjoyed Harry Potter.  I’ve heard that before, so we shall see.  However it did sound interesting so I added and a suggested it to my library.  It should he here any day.  I may have to bump one of the books I selected for the #ReadingMyLibrary Challenge in favor of this one.
  8. Blood Kiss (Black Dagger Legacy, #1) Added 3/19/15:A spin-off series set in the Black Dagger Brotherhood world.  HELL YEAH!!!
  9. Finches of Mars  Added 3/19/15:This is a Net Galley review book I was approved for.  Thought it fit in nicely with my May theme of Sci-Fi reads.
  10. Shadow and Bone (The Grisha, #1)  Added 3/18/15:Do not actually remember adding this book, but I’m thinking it was after reading someone’s review.

There you have it the ten most recent adds to my to-read list. Uncensored!  What books have you added lately?

  1. The Neverending Story is a favorite movie; I’ve never read the book either but would love to! I tried not buying new books this year too and failed miserably when I went on a book-buying binge in February! :)

    1. I’ve done good so far, Net Galley and free e-books for my Nook and Kindle help a lot. I’m getting approved for a lot of the titles I would have bought anyway. Now I can wait until the finances free up a bit. But then again. Do I really need to own it…

    1. I remember reading the first one several times in grade school. I’m going to have to borrow the series one of these days. I never new it was made into a show though.
