Monday Morning Question: Book Suggestions?

Good Monday morning everyone!  I hope you had a good weekend as the summer continues to slip through our fingers.  I can’t believe fair week is over.  I didn’t get to participate much, but the days I was there were fun and it was nice to see everyone.  With only two weeks in July left I thought this week I would ask: What three book suggestions would you give from the books you’ve read this year?  Thought it might be a fun way for us to find some new titles to add to our to-read lists.

So for my three books I’m going to pick the following:

  1. The Martian  If you are a regular reader of my reviews you’ve already heard me sing this book’s praises, and if you haven’t already gone out and got your own copy do so now.  This was an amazing read and I believe could appeal to a wide variety of readers.
  2. The Rosie Project (Don Tillman #1)  This was another fun read that I found from Top Ten Tuesdays lists on other blogs.  It was a sweet story that made me smile, and again a book that I believe could appeal to wide audience.
  3. First Grave on the Right (Charley Davidson, #1)  This series quickly became an obsession for me.  It is my one paranormal suggestion to share with you all.  The wit and dialog make it a hoot to read, but the author also has the ability to bring me to tears as well.

Well this week’s question feels like kind of a cop-out, but I was at a loss today for something better.  I do look forward to reading any suggestions you all might share in the comments.  So what are your top three book suggestions for the year?

  1. My three suggestions would be The Selection Series by Kiera Cass (Bachelor meets post Divergent) one of my favorite series. Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs one of my favorites I drop my current book to read the most recent one the day it comes out. Last Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Paige it was way better than I expected it to be. These would be my top 3 suggestions for 2014 so far. Great question! Have a great week.
